Deputy Director, Budget, Pension and Insurance Department
Mr. Ibrahim-K. Abdulrahman is the Deputy Director of the Budget, Pension and Insurance Department of the Federal Judicial Service Commission (FJSC). He is a seasoned public finance professional with almost 20 years of dedicated service in the Commission, during which he has made significant contributions to budget planning and implementation, salary administration, pension administration, insurance management, and public financial management.
He is an alumnus of the University of Jos, Plateau State, and holds the prestigious professional designation of Certified National Accountant (CNA), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence, integrity, and continuous professional development in the accounting profession.
Throughout his career, Mr. Abdulrahman played an active role in the development and implementation of policies and initiatives aimed at strengthening financial management, enhancing institutional efficiency, and promoting transparency and accountability within the Commission. Beyond his professional responsibilities, he is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys football, Scrabble, Formula One (F1) motor racing, table tennis, and lawn tennis — pursuits that reflect his appreciation for teamwork, strategic thinking, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence.
The Budget, Pension and Insurance Department is one of the key Departments of the Federal Judicial Service Commission (FJSC), responsible for coordinating the Commission's budgetary, pension, and insurance functions in accordance with extant laws, government policies, and financial regulations. The Department provides strategic support to Management through prudent financial planning, efficient pension administration, and effective insurance management, thereby contributing to the achievement of the Commission's statutory mandate.
