Mr. Saka Bolaji Suleiman was born on the 15th of January 1955. He hails from Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State and is married with children.

Mr. Suleiman possesses a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Sociology obtained from the University of Lagos. He also has a Higher School Certificate (HSC) from the Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin. He attended Offa Grammar School, Offa, where he acquired his Senior Secondary School Certificate in 1975.

Mr. Suleiman started his career in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development as an Administrative Officer VII in 1983, where he rose to the position of Chief Personnel Officer in 1995. He has held several positions in various Ministries in Ilorin including Director (Personnel, Finance and Supply), Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology (2012–2015) and Director/Secretary, Kwara State Boundary Committee, Governor's Office (2007–2012).

Mr. Saka Bolaji Suleiman was appointed as a Member of the Federal Judicial Service Commission on the 7th of November 2023 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
