Director, Discipline, Appeals and Complaints
Mrs. Rebecca Okon Efut holds a B.A (Hons) English/Literary Studies and M.Sc Industrial Sociology, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (MCIPM). She is the Pioneer Director of the Department of Discipline, Appeals and Complaints at the FJSC with over 30 years experience in Civil and Public Service. She is a master problem solver who combines deep institutional knowledge, crisis management skills and strategic vision. Her Personal Mission Statement: "My mission is to effectively communicate the organizational vision, rally the staff and guide them towards achieving administrative excellence, and efficiency, thereby reducing disciplinary cases to the barest minimum."
View Full ProfileThe Department of Discipline, Appeals and Complaints (DAC) was created on 21st February 2022 and is saddled with the responsibility of dealing with disciplinary matters/cases involving staff of the Commission and Federal Courts. The Department processes recommendations for disciplinary action on officers on GL.07 and above, ensures compliance with extant rules and regulations, attends Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee Meetings as observers, and attends to Disciplinary Appeals and Complaints from the Courts.
